2019-20 Registration Form

Before completing and submitting this form, please carefully read the detailed class descriptions.

By becoming a member of the University of Saskatchewan Fencing Club (USFC), you consent to the use of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the Saskatchewan Fencing Association (SFA). We (the USFC) may share portions of your information with the SFA and other affiliated or related organizations that perform services on our behalf or provide services to you.

Essentially, the USFC will use the information you provide to maintain a contact history for each member, which is used primarily for service, collection and payment purposes. The information you provide will also be used to register your membership with the Saskatchewan Fencing Association and the Canadian Fencing Federation (CFF). This information, however, is limited to internal use and restricted to employees, agents and volunteers of the respective organizations.

Your personal information will not be disclosed to any third parties not related to or affiliated with the University of Saskatchewan Fencing Club or the Saskatchewan Fencing Association without your specific permission.

The following activities are examples of when the University of Saskatchewan Fencing Club may require the collection or use of your personal information:

  1. collection of membership or registration fees;
  2. organization of club activities;
  3. communicating with you about the University of Saskatchewan Fencing Club or related association or organization activities;
  4. compiling member statistics and lists;
  5. sending member newsletters;
  6. participating in a dispute resolution process;
  7. communicating with members and athletes;
  8. supporting grant applications.

There are no volunteer requirements for Adult Beginner participants
 

***  An additional $240 deposit for volunteer work, in the form of a cheque
      payable to the U of S Fencing Club and post-dated to
      May 31st, 2020, is required from Regular members.

      The cheque will be returned if 12 hours of volunteer work

Terms of Registration:
  1. Volunteer cheques must be received by the treasurer no later than 14 days from the class start date.
     
  2. Withdrawals: For withdrawals up to seven days after classes begin, a full refund will be given. After this date, refunds will be pro-rated (class fees less the CFF/SFA fees).
     
  3. Additional CFF/SFA fees required for Intermediate and Regular categories are non-refundable.
